Ground Up

Uriah always enjoyed working with his hands. In 1998 he found himself in the construction industry working as a rough carpenter, framing custom homes and learning the business from the ground up.

He knew immediately he had found his passion. Uriah became a licensed builder in 2001, spending years honing his craft and building a reputation for meticulous attention to detail and unwavering craftsmanship throughout Northern Michigan.

Together with his wife Carrie, they founded Asherpark Custom Homes in 2013. With their shared commitment to quality construction and genuine care for every client, APCH quickly grew into one of the area's most trusted custom home builders. Working as a true team, they are personally involved from concept to completion — making sure every single detail of your new home or remodel is done to your complete satisfaction.

Is Home

Both Uriah and Carrie grew up right here in Traverse City. Uriah graduated from St. Francis and Carrie from Traverse City Central. Having been raised in the area, they appreciate everything the region has to offer — and they knew this is where they would plant roots and raise their family.

With world-class outdoor activities, an exceptional quality of life, and the natural beauty of northern Michigan surrounding you at every turn, there's nowhere else they'd rather build homes. Parents of two boys, they spend their free time hiking, skiing, and exploring everything this remarkable corner of the state has to offer.

Uriah

Licensed Builder & Co-Founder

Uriah has been building custom homes in Northern Michigan for over 25 years. Licensed since 2001, he brings a depth of hands-on experience to every project — from foundation to final trim. He is on-site and involved throughout the entire build, ensuring every detail meets the standard he's built his name on.

His approach is simple: listen carefully to what you want, communicate openly throughout the process, and deliver a home that exceeds your expectations. No shortcuts, no surprises.

Carrie

Co-Founder & Client Relations

Carrie is the organizational heart of Asherpark Custom Homes. She works closely with clients throughout the design and selection process, helping translate lifestyle and taste into a cohesive, beautiful home. From material selections to scheduling and client communication, Carrie ensures the process is smooth, transparent, and — above all — enjoyable.

Her warmth and attention to detail are what clients often remember most, long after they've moved into their new home.
